The best is device with e-ink display 6 " working on Android 4 and higher with possibility to fix mini gps module, like for kobo. Posted: Tue 12:49 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for AndroidĪs I understand Kobo was hacked with Android 2. Yotaphone or your Inkbook prime are the only possible e-ink options going forward. Unfortunately all the Kobo android e-reader hacks are based on a Gingerbread (2.3) system image, which won't run forthcoming versions of XcTrack. Haven't yet tried that but worth testing out. I see that the kobo touch can be flashed with android too. Posted: Tue 12:48 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for Android

'Not supported' will mean that you will not be able to install it on the device. I'd even recommend getting at least something with Android 4.2, as we might drop support for these older versions in the future (although now the oldest supported will be still 4.0). The upcoming version of XCTrack will support ONLY android versions 4 and higher. Posted: Tue 11:21 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for Android They have been working hard on supporting this eink reader and I'm super impressed with their efforts to date. The terrain map its not usable though imho but I don't use that anyway. Bluetooth modules hc05 work well with it., ie classic bluetooth. I have it hooked up to an airwhere gps/bluetooth device and it works great. However, even at this time its really usable and.my app.of choice. Been working with the dev team testing fixes they provide to overcome some page and menu color issues. I've been using it with an inkbook prime which is an android reader with Bluetooth. Posted: Mon 9:26 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for AndroidĬheck preferences -> key bindings -> tap any of the entries and you should receive a hint saying to cover the proximity sensor for a while to use it as a virtual key. I am on the 0.6.0-513 Version but couldnt find the Option. How does one activate the proximity Sensor HW key? Posted: Mon 0:31 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for Android I am 61 years old and these data interest me according to the phases of flight. Hello happy user for a long time, I would like to know if it was possible to add a gadget to get the data of a belt of cardiacs frequencies. Posted: Mon 7:06 UTC Post subject: RE: XCTrack for Android Sadly the Yotaphone doesn't have a prox sensor on the e-ink sideĭon't just land and say 'That was fun! Where is the beer?'. Yes, the prox sensor key is an excellent addition.
